I’m really sick. Coughs, headaches, stuffy-nose, the whole works. It started on Monday and the worst was yesterday, I’m hoping by Sunday this cold/flu will be gone so I can enjoy a potluck at my house for Easter.
Today, I’ve graduated from training class and I’m now in OCP (Operation: Check Point). No joke, it’s really called “Operation: Check Point”. The difference now is I won’t be having 1 on 1 help. It’ll be 1 mentor for 5 reps, then the next week, 1 mentor for 10 reps, and then the week after I’ll be answering phones little or no supervision.
Next Friday (March 28th) is payday and me and acouple of ther co-wokers decided to go eat at some soul-food restaurant. Should be good from other peoples reviews about it and hopefully they will serve good portions.
Don’t expect and pictures or videos anytime soon, camera is broke. Long story short, I got 3 years extended warranty to protect my camera from damage, but last trip I took to BestBuy to fix my camera (lens wouldn’t retract) they said it might not be repaired because I didn’t buy the accidental warranty. Weak. I don’t know what I’ll be using as a replacement camera for everyday use but a Canon Rebel XSi is in my future. I’m seriously thinking about taking up photography. Iono.

I use it a lot to randomly surf the web, keeps me on the internet longer that I’m supposed to be.

So I guess every first Friday of the month there’s an art festival held near downtown Las Vegas. Tonight I went with Bear and some friends, it was cool, they had many live musicians and breakdancers, art galleries, and art merchandise for sale.
The sad part is I didn’t take pictures/movies. Infact, I left the camera at home, Damnit. It was pretty cool though, I mean all the houses that were displaying art, were set up like art galleries you see in the movies and that was cool.
Afterwards went into downtown, got margaritas in a football plastic mug, and tried to get drunk in some reggae spot. Failed, and went home. Before going home we (Bear and I) stopped at Dominos and ordered some food (and I filled out an application). The guy their said that somebody was leaving in 3 days so a position will open up soon.
Ohh yeah a good friend hit me up today, asked me if I was still on the job hunt, I said yeah, and he said he’ll put in a good word for me to a friend who is a cable installer. You know, the people who install tv/phone/internet cables into new homes and or upgrade existing lines. I also went to DMV and renewed my license, it was boring because I waited 3 hours… Boooo!
So, I guess I’ll be giving the cable installer people 3 days to hit me up and if no calls I’ll be turning in my application to become a full-time pizza delivery. LAtEZ.
The reason for going to Jillians was to see the band, Water Street. Totally missed the performance because Jerry, Lucas? (Jerry’s co-worker), and I decided to get fuckkin twisted @ the bar, lol…
I mean we heard a couple of other bands, and the first two band we heard were cool, then we decided to grab some drinks, went back to the show, and found out we missed Water Street, and caught the last band, they hella sucked. So, yeah at bars in Las Vegas they now serve Absinthe, but very low quality version but it still gets the job done. It tastes like a cinnamon jager, with the after effects of poprocks in your mouth. It’s my new drink.

So I made a typo trying to type in my myspace address. What came up was something really weird, I found an account that had my name, and then in the picture section, it has my pictures alongside with rhoji. But it seems that the person has taken rhoji’s place and calls him the Samoan-Ninja, AKA Jesse, and actually calls me, Rickie. WTF?!
The only explanation I can come up with is that it’s a bot’s account (it’s a fake account). You know like how sometimes you see “people” try and add you as a friend but when you look at their account it takes you somewhere else or tries to steal your password but the picture for the account looks like a normal picture. I think that’s what happened because the photos that have me and rhoji, they are searchable through any search engine. But what are the odds that I find my picture in place for a bot? Or what are the odds of somebody actually finding their picture in place for a bot’s account?

Today got a random text from a girl i just met on myspace, she told me that I seem hella cool (she seems like a down ass girl to kickit with), and that there should be no reason why i shouldn’t be able to make new friends because I seem like a nice guy. Well, what made her say the making friends part was because she said she was at work and was lonely, and I said that I was somewhat lonely too cause I haven’t really made any UNLV friends. I wanted to keep talking to her but I hella needed to study up on my government stuff cause that was the next class. I guess I’ll be hitting her up sometime later today…

The laptop is up and running. What happened was the power cord for the laptop itself was damaged. So I found the docking station and found the power cord for the stations too which powers up the laptop, so its all up and running. It’s been maybe 2+ months it’s been out-of-order..
I missed the new episode of Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi channel, anybody catch it? I’ll probably download the episode from somewhere off the net.
Everything is going all good.. My Advisory Hold has been temporarily taken off until I show up for the advisory meeting this wednesday. So I can choose my classes, but if I don’t attend the meeting then everything will be put back to where it was. It’s kinda late in choosing classes, I’m thinking I’ll be having shitty class schedules.. Hopefully not shitty classes themselves. LOL…
I guess this is my last week? Maybe? If it is, or isn’t I should have the last week of July off.. Maybe I’ll take a trip/run away?! My managers don’t want me to leave and they want me to try and work part-time. But I have to leave, I got classes and plus Sears pay is kinda junk. It has to be done, in the words of Beastie Boys – Alive.. “I have never been more ready in my entire life to do this right now”… “It’s all been leading up to this moment.”.. Hahaha.. I’ll have some updates of pictures and videos too later..

As I heard yesterday around noon my manager died from some kind of aneurysm…
He was hospitalized this past thursday and yesterday passed away…
