Floor Show Remix

June 14th, 2010 Samoan-Ninja 1 comment

In a Polynesian floor show you’re taken on a “tour” to the main islands in the South Pacific. While traveling to each island you’re given a brief history and then shown a dance (which usually tells a story).

This last floor show that I went to drifted hella far away from the South Pacific. First we started off in Tahiti, then made our to to Hawaii, New Zealand, and then our final stop in Kenya.

Yes, Kenya. I couldn’t believe it myself but they brought out the limbo world champion in a Polynesian floor show. It was awesome and awkward at the same time. Just have a look at the pics below.

I’ll give the guy credit cause he went below the limbo stick while it was on two beer bottles.

What I think was hella unacceptable was the extra tight pants he wearing because it hella made the outline of his dong stick out. I’m not gay but it was just one of those situations where no matter how hard you looked away, you could just see “it”. It’s like in the movie Watchmen, no matter hard you tried looking away from Dr. Manhattan’s dong, it was just there on the screen, unavoidable. The only way to NOT see it is if you closed your eyes.

He was also trying to do “sexy” moves while moving under the stick with his stomach rolling and air humping action. All that was unnecessary too but overall seeing someone do a real life stick limbo with the height of a beer bottle from the floor. Yeah, that’s pretty awesome.

Oh and that’s not all. The people running the floor show stopped in Kenya and that got my mom mad because they didn’t go to Samoa (which was disappointing because the people running the floor show was Samoan too). So she MADE them take a trip to Samoa and made my aunty grab a Samoan CD from the truck. Everything worked out nice because my mom told everyone what to do and helped the graduate dance. When everyone finally “got” what was going on they fully participated and started dancing with the graduate, and even threw money too.

My mom is freakkin’ awesome.

Health Care Passed.

March 25th, 2010 Samoan-Ninja 2 comments

In 2006 when Bush was in office and nobody gave a rats ass about health care I had a job being a mechanic for Sears Automotive. My work status was considered part-time (although I had full-time hours) and because of that I didn’t qualify with the company to get any health benefits. It didn’t bother me that much but I wanted to be safe (particularly because of my job duties) so I got individual health insurance through ehealthinsurance.com. I started off with the coverage costing me $70 per month and I remember the deductible, and coinsurance being decent and the each doctors visit was $15.

Since buying my health insurance in 2006 my premiums shot up every year which didn’t make sense because the only time I went to go see my doctor was in 2009. I had sharp ankle pains and it was discovered I had gout. My health insurance and the fee to visit the doc got too expensive and the cost was bound to go up again so after I got my pills to relieve my gout I dropped my coverage.

I’ve had no health insurance since mid/late 2009. In the end right before I canceled my health plan I was paying $160 per month with a fee of $40 per visit to the doc. I’m glad this health reform bill passed and for now I’ll buy into my company’s health insurance for $70 (lol). When 2014 comes around hopefully my premiums have lowered and if they have I’ll be sticking with my current plan but if they haven’t lowered to the amount I would like you can bet I’ll be buy from the public option.

I was affected by the health care situation. It may not have been extreme as some cases where actual lives were depended on getting coverage but still I was affected. I bet you if I stuck with the plan I would’ve been paying $200 per month with a $50+ fee to visit the doc. I also think that if the reform didn’t happen I probably would’ve been disqualified from receiving coverage because of a pre-existing condition (my gout). Can you tell me why my premiums kept shooting up each year and I only showed my face once?!

Health care reform passed.

YES WE CAN.
AND YES WE DID!

P.S.

Don’t try and short change Obama. People said the economy was going to fail hard but it actually grew. People also said that the health reform bill was dead but it passed. The president is on a hot streak and I think whatever is next on his agenda will pass too! That’s my bet.

Feelin’ Like A Million Bucks

March 23rd, 2010 Samoan-Ninja 3 comments

I love my job.

It’s the same computer things I’ve been doing ever since I was a little kid except now I get PAID!

My job is so damn fun that sometimes I don’t want to clock out and go home, I’d rather just keep working.

Now that I have a job my workout sessions have come to a complete stop. Team HIIT is still up in the air. It kind of reminds of bands with their “together” status.

On Monday I’m going to be continuing HIIT with the Team or not. I’m also modifying the HIIT program with light weights to exhaust the muscles and liver of glycogen, and then take a walk/jog while my body is in a fat burning mode. Ya dig? Also I’m going to be eating a light breakfast, a light lunch, and then a liquid dinner (most likely a slimfast or similar shake).

I got this..

HBK – 24

February 5th, 2010 Samoan-Ninja No comments

I’m 24 years old.

I just realized I don’t like being odd numbers. When I was 23 that seemed harsh, 24 is cool. 25 seems hella old, while 26 I’d gladly welcome. Odd numbers make me feel older while even numbers are alright.

Anyways there was dinner at Uncle Rudy’s and he made these fat awesome mondo sized burgers, brawursts, and macaroni salad. Then to finish it off there was ice cream and Moli made cupcakes! It was awesome.

Also the Rodriguez’s have a pet! It’s a small little ass dog named Nacho. If you’re wondering how in the hell did Nacho get his name?! Well it came from the complete boredom of trying to find a name for the dog. All of the sudden Nacho Libre quotes was being thrown around and Nacho stuck! I believe it was Bear himself that gave the dog his name.

Dinner at Red Lobster tonight! Yeeeeeeeeeeee! Hahaha…

Lights, Camera, Oh Wait.

January 7th, 2010 Samoan-Ninja 3 comments

My 360 gold account expired, and the rental games had to be returned :( . Eminem said it best (although he meant something completely different) “The clock’s run out, time’s up over, blaow. Snap back to reality, oh there goes gravity”. I’m hoping the next time I play on an Xbox 360 it’ll be my own :) . You know ’cause I’ll have money from that job I’m supposed to have.. Now!!

In the bundle are two wireless controllers, MW2, a headset, a special painted xbox 360 inspired from Modern Warfare 2, and a new 250GB HD. I just need to purchase a wireless adapter separately, no biggie.

So while I wait for the J-O-B to call to “tell me when to go”, I’ll be working on two video projects. Both are currently in development and nowhere near pre-production. The first video is a instructional video with how to poach “something” (it’s a surprise with a twist), it’s going to be short and sweet sick (Well, it depends on how you take it). The other video I don’t want to go into too much detail but it is another instructional video and I might need to recruit some people to help me out on it.

Well, that’s all you can expect for now. When the videos are done they’ll be uploaded to Youtube, and posted here as well (duh). If you don’t know my Youtube Channel you can find the link on the right, it’s underneath the “More Of Me Links”, or you can click here. This is the Samoan-Ninja signing off… LAtEZ.

Welcome 2010.

January 2nd, 2010 Samoan-Ninja 2 comments

I’m back.

So you’re probably wondering what happened to Samoan-Ninja.com? Well, it was sort of my fault it went down. You see, I was trying to clear out the spam comments in the gallery (over 5000+) and accidentally knocked it out. As soon as I restored the gallery, my blog went down! So I tried restoring my blog but it kept failing, so I got help from my web host’s tech support and now everything is back to normal.

So what did you do to celebrate the New Year?! I got down on some Modern Warfare 2 and Fallout 3. I got so caught up merc’n niggas that I didn’t know it was 2010 until my parents called to wish me a Happy New Year.
