I’ve been using StumbleUpon a lot lately, mostly stumbling the topic of photography. I came across a website photo-dumping cats & dogs, and saw a picture of an orange fluffy kitten with big ole eyes. I’ve seen the picture many times before on previous stumbles and it always reminded me of something, but I couldn’t put a finger on it, until now.

What comes to mind when you see this picture?

Doesn’t it remind you of a creature from a movie? You know, where “The only good bug, is a dead bug”. Do you see it? It’s the eyes and the posture/shape of the kitten that does it for me. You might be thinking I’m “reaching” quite a bit here, but I think it’s a match. Well, the kitten reminds me of:

A Brain Bug from Starship Troopers!

I’m serious, the damn kitten reminds me of the brain bug from Starship Troopers. That’s it, and that’s all.
