When it comes to Christmas I really don’t like gift exchange games like Secret Santa. You pick someones name and then you give that person a gift you think they’ll like. I’m always in a continuous argument with myself of “Will that person like my gift?”, “If I give this gift, does it imply that I’m cheap?”, “Does this gift even matches the person I’m giving it to?”, “Is this gift even useful?”, etc.. In birthdays if you gave a gift and thought it didn’t hold up, it didn’t matter cause that person is still getting showered with other gifts. However in this gift giving, you only get one shot to “please”.

This year a new game was played called White Elephant, and I completely approve. There’s no stress in it because the present you give goes under the tree for anybody to choose or “steal”.

Here’s how the game works, everyone buys a gift (usually inexpensive) and it goes under the tree. Then you draw a number (usually from a hat), and the number decides the order that you go in.

The person who is first will select a gift to open and then show it off to everyone. Then the second person (and everyone after) can pick a new gift or they can “steal” a gift that somebody has opened. The person who has had their gift “stolen” gets another turn of opening a new gift or “stealing” someone else’s.

There is no “steal-backs” and an item can only be stolen up to 3 times then it’s determined “safe”. The game is over when everyone has a gift.

When it was my turn I was about to “steal” a chocolate fondue fountain, but I went with getting a gift from the tree. I ended up with house shoes, my mom got a foreman grill, and my dad got hella socks plus other items.

Overall it’s fun, anonymous, and random.

As you can see I’ve been making a lot changes to my website. The search bar at the top is now a customized google search bar, there’s a donate button at the top right, I now have share buttons on pages and posts, there’s a new banner at the top, you now have to log into Samoan-Ninja.com in order for your votes counted and some more hidden code was added to optimize my site.

Everything is coming together but I’m kind of nervous because if I need to update wordpress or the theme, all my settings might erase and if it does I’ll have to reconfigure everything again.

I think the next change I’ll do is have the banner at the top rotate each time the page is refreshed. I’m going to go and take more pictures for the banner, and more than likely each picture will have green in it. You know that’s how I roll.

Aside from the website updates, I pretty much got a new job working at Towbin Dodge. It was a shoo-in because, well you know. I’m thankful for it, and I’ll be working as a Key Tracker. Yup, I track all keys that go in and out of the dealership, I’m part security, so I’ll be wearing a security uniform, yup! Pay isn’t that good but as the titles says “I’mma Have Money To Blow”, so maybe I might get that xbox 360, or a new computer.

So, what has my diet been looking like? Well, I’ve normalized my weight back to 335LBS. I was close to breaking past the 3teens but since I broke my fast, I’ve been eating normal. So what’s going to be my routine? Well, I’m going back to the good ol’ fashioned diet and exercise routine. I’m going on a low-carb diet, and I’ll be doing cardio, and weightlifting. I’ve also got acouple of experimental workout routines in plan too (I’ll fill you in on those later).

Well that’s all I have to share for now. If what I said in some area didn’t make sense, well that’s because i didn’t go back and try to proof it. I just said it as how I typed it, and I know somewhere I messed up, but I’m hella tired. That’s it and that’s all, LAtEZ.

I canceled the 31 days project.

Who knew it would be difficult to update for 31 days straight. It turned out to be one of those easier said than done type deals, and in the end I was a little disappointed in myself. I know now to keep things short and simple, it also didn’t help that I was fasting.

I’m still going to be doing other projects but they won’t go on more than a week. If I need an extension on a project, then I’ll just add however many days I need to finish the job. Also, I’m going to do only one project at a time. This way I can focus my attention on one thing and get quality content out rather than trying to juggle between multiple projects and posting not so worthy content.

In other news, Samoan-Ninja.com loads even faster (excluding the gallery). Go ahead and start clicking around, you’ll notice things load right up. Thanks to the WordPress plugin WP Super Cache for making it fast. It’s also promised that I can even take a huge hit from digg.com, although I’m not too eager to test that out yet, lol.

I don’t have that much to show but do have some news for you. Let me break it down for you, I broke my fast, and is immediately resuming it starting tomorrow plus I will be working out harder than ever and will be drinking both brewed green tea and water.

I got caught up playing Modern Warfare 2 at Bear’s house. I stayed up 24+ hours merc’in/merkin/murkin (you choose) niggas. I messed up by getting dropped off at the house, so I stayed over, if I had brought my car I could’ve left and went to bed on time, but oh well that’s what I get.. If you’re wondering what my name on Xbox Live is it’s TheSamoanNinja.

I get dizzy easy and I see spots almost every time I stand up.
The metallic taste is constant.
It’s been raining and very windy.
I wish it would hurry up and snow already.
I think I’ll hit the gym tomorrow to see how much I weigh.
I’m debating to go 40 days fasting, or break it at Christmas dinner (25 days).
I was almost electrocuted today.

I’m feelings sick, and I’ve been moving sluggish for the entire day

I love the cold and then I hate the cold. I love it because it reminds me of the Bay Area, but I hate it because sometimes it can bring the hives out. I’m suffering right now, and it majorly sucks.

I don’t have any pictures or any more interesting stories to share.

Oh and today marks one week of me water fasting, yay!

If I don’t drink water then the temptations of eating food skyrockets to the breaking point. This morning when I woke up I wasn’t thirsty, so I decided to watch some TV. After watching a couple of shows I started to get hungry, and the hunger pangs jumped from mild almost to HUNGER GETS WHAT HUNGER WANTS! I then started thinking about warming up last nights dinner of rotisserie chicken, and eating it with those sweet Hawaiian bread rolls, then finishing it off with a cold glass of milk and some chewy chips ahoy. Then I remembered that we had combination pizza, actually we had 3 different styles of combination pizza. I was imagining I would start off with the rising crust pizza, then work my way to the thin crust, and finally finish off with eating the flatbread pizza.

In order for me to control these feelings I sat down and drank the entire 1 gallon water and was full. The hunger pangs died down and I was able to continue the day without any “interruptions”.

Oh and food dreams are becoming more ridiculous. I know I already wrote about me dreaming that I ate some food and waking up believing that I did but the intensity of it is climbing and it’s starting to become common that I dream those types of dream.

I have a little game for you guys. It involves one of the pizzas I was talking about earlier because that’s what my mom and dad decided to eat for dinner.

I’ve never seen anything like this before. I don’t even know how you can mess it up like this, but Digiorno pizza did screw it up, it’s still edible but it makes you wonder what went wrong in the factory. If you haven’t figured it out I’ll give ya another picture hint:

If you haven’t gotten it by now there was an extra layer of cardboard. I’ll run through the layers for you starting at the bottom. It goes cardboard, crust, cardboard, sauce and toppings. Still don’t believe it? Here’s some pictures of the corrections being made.

When it came out it looked normal but how does a mess up like this pass inspection? Did anybody inspect it at all? My mom had me laughing because when she was blaming the store she bought it from.

Okay last thing before I go. I’m no longer going to post pictures on how much I weigh because I’m going to abandon my scale and use the scale at the gym, and I don’t want to take pictures inside a gym and get people all riled up. I’m deciding this because my scale at home is becoming hella inaccurate. That’s it and that’s all.
